The new size will be applied to the image as soon as you finish adjusting it. To change the size of the newly created image, just click on the “resize” icon in the top menu.
If you are using Adobe Photoshop, another useful GIMP editing tool is the Brush Strokes tool. This is a simple, round tool similar to Paintbrush, but designed specifically for creating text. To use this tool, you will need to open the software’s brush strokes palette; simply click on the ” Brushes” option from the main menu, and a new panel will popup on the left-hand side of your screen. Select “Stencil” from the options list and draw fancy strokes on your images with the mouse.
